Bed Bug Nymph

Bed bug nymph

Bed bug nymphs are much smaller than adult bed bugs and can easily be overlooked. Nymphs are approximately 1/16” when they first hatch and are nearly colorless until their first feeding. Because of their relatively small size and translucent appearance they can be difficult to see. However, they can be seen and are easier to spot when they are on the move. Several nymphs are signs of an impending infestation and a heat treatment of the area is required to prevent spreading them to other areas.
